This is a short film that hopes to increase awareness about this creature of the night. Otherwise called the Honey Badger for its apparent liking for honey, the ratel is the only species in its genus. Photographed for the very first time in Karnataka, Southern India, we hope this is just the beginning of understanding the distribution of this elusive animal in Karnataka.
