Insect identification for beginners — 30-31 January 2016, Bangalore

The Department of Agricultural Entomology, University of Agricultural Sciences is conducting a two-day session on January 30-31, 2016 at the GKVK campus. The program introduces beginners to the world of insects, including the classification and identification of insects. There are no course registration fees. Selected participants will have to cover all costs including travel to the venue and lunch. Outstation participants will have to arrange their own accommodation. There are no educational pre-qualifications required. The course involves handling of insects that have been killed or preserved. Applicants who are sensitive or have ethical/moral objections may want to take this into consideration.
