Pranav Trivedi is interested in understanding human-nature relationship along with its improvement and restoration using experiential and outdoor education.

He obtained his Master's degree in Wildlife Science from WII in 1993, before doing a Post Graduate course in Environmental Education from the University of Strathclyde (UK) in 1997-98 and completing his doctoral study on bird community ecology and conservation in 2006 from the Saurashtra University. He has worked with WWF-India from 1993 to 2001 and as a freelance ecological and education consultant from 2001 to 2005 with Centre for Environment Education (CEE); GEER Foundation; and Forest Department, Gujarat. He has written two books (Walking on the Green Path & Nono, the Snow Leopard) and several articles in popular media besides conducting over 200 nature education camps for hundreds of students (children & youth). He has to his credit, the creation and conducting of a state-of-the-art outdoor/experiential environmental education programme for school children (aged 6 to 15 years). He has also written interpretative text for the Interpretation/Information centres of Bandhavgarh and Pench Tiger reserves, Bhoj Wetland - Ramsar site, and several PAs in Gujarat such as Nalsarovar, Thol and Vansda.

He lives and works from home in Ahmedabad and nurtures an organic garden in his backyard, where he's recorded over 50 species of birds and nearly 150 wild species of plants and animals...
