P Satyanarayana, a forest officer, was allegedly beaten to death late Tuesday night by Sandalwood Smugglers in the forests of Adilabad, Andhra Pradesh. He had reached the area with three other villagers, after a tip off. A few months ago, Shivlal, another forest officer was burnt to death by a teakwood smuggling gang.
