To commemorate 25 years of Save the Western Ghats March, around 500 Civil Society representatives, journalists, leading representatives from the private sector, institutes, international organizations and NGOs, as well as government officials and decision-makers from various fields are meeting at this Practitioners’ Conclave.
The event aims at bringing together Civil Society members and a range of stakeholder groups active in the Western Ghats landscape to share their experiences, deliberate on new policies, social , ecological and economic issues and most importantly to discuss strategies and solutions for the pressing environmental and social issues from this important landscape. The meeting will carve new partnerships & strengthen the existing ones.
